From Hero to Zero: Luck of continuity in Ethiopia!



As far as my understanding goes, luck of continuity in Ethiopia attributes for two main reasons; -

(1)	Absence of peaceful political power transitions.

 In Ethiopia whenever there appears to be a regime change, everything starts from the scratch. Hero’s of one system would be treated as villains & whatever wisdom & knowledge they have had, nobody is tolerant enough to listen those guys. Because they are enemies. What a shame?

(2)	Luck of Institutions.

Ethiopian way of success has always been a case of an individual brilliance than Institutional achievements. Since the time of the golden age of Ethiopian Art & beyond, there have been absolutely brilliant Ethiopians in various aspects.   However, due to absence of Institutions those individual qualities had bee either buried with those individuals when they pass away or left unpreserved to be used by the coming generations.
