Foundetd in [[Cleator]], [[, Cumbria]], [[England]] im Jahr 1938 von Jaques Spreiregen, Kangol (das K aus ''Sil'''k''''' (englisch für [[Seide]]), das ANG aus [[Angora]], das OL aus [[Wolle]]) produzierte die Firma von Beginn an Kopfbedeckungen für Arbeiter in 1938 by Jakob Spreiregen, Kangol (the K from silK or Knitting or Knitted, the ANG from angora, the OL from wool) produced hats for workers, Ggolfer und insbesondere Soldaten.
