In Winter 2004 a pair of [[United States|American]] DJs got a hold of a copy of the single and began to give it airplay.  It soon was recieving huge US airplay charting at #11 on Billboard's 'Top 40 Mainstream' and #21 on Billboard's 'Top 40 tracks' charts.  It finally charted on [[Billboard]]'s biggest chart 'The top 100' peaking at #54.  'Bounce' was officially released on a 
[[physical single]] on [[May 11]], [[2004]].  

A [[Sarah Connor (album)|self titled]] compilation album to follow 'Bounce's' success was released however it performed poorly only charting at #106 on the top 200 chart.  By the time 'Bounce' found airplay in the US Sarah was heavily pregnant with her first son Tyler.  The[[Sarah Connor (album)|self titled album]] was released a week after her son was born.
