The film is directed by [[Anthony Mann]] and stars [[Dick Powell]], [[Paula Raymond]], [[Adolphe Menjou]], [[Marshall Thompson]], [[Florence Bates]], [[Will Geer]], [[Victor Kilian]], [[Regis Toomey]] and [[Ruby Dee]].  It is written by [[George Worthing Yates]] and [[Art Cohn]] and is 78 minutes long. The 1966-1967 TV series 
[[The Time Tunnel]] had "The Death Trap" episode regarding the 1861 Baltimore plot, although it also depicted a brief difficulty with the time machine which caused the showing of (an enactment of) the 1865 shooting of Lincoln at Ford's Theatre.  The episode had a bomb being used in the 1861 Baltimore plot.
