==Freestyle tricks==
The tricks used in freestyle are varied and unique, most being performed by the lowerbody. These are known as airmoves. Among the most popular of these moves is around the world(atw), in which the freestyler kicks the ball up, then circles it once with his foot before kicking it up again. Atw's can be performed in both a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. Another common move is the crossover; the ball is kicked up, and as it reaches a good height(chest height, preferably), a jump is prepared. As the ball falls, perform the jump, swinging one leg over the ball so your legs are crossed. The leg that does not swing then kicks the ball up in this position. Timing is important in doing this trick.
Some more common airmoves:
  Hop the world(htw)-the ball is kicked up, but the opposite leg circles and hits the ball up. Usually done in clockwise direction.
  Reverse htw(rhtw)-a htw done in an anti-clockwise direction. 
  Touzani atw(tatw)-created by Soufiane Touzani; an anti-clockwise atw is started, but before the full revolution of the foot is made, you jump slightly and perform a crossover, the starting leg being the one hitting the ball in the crossover.
  Mitchy atw(matw)-the same as tatw, but the atw that starts the trick is clockwise in direction.
  Alternate tatw(atatw)-the same as tatw, only instead of an atw, a rhtw is the starting trick.
  Alternate matw(amatw)-the same as matw, only instead of an atw, a htw is the starting trick.
  Lemmens atw(latw)-an atw where the foot circles the ball twice before hitting it up again.⏎
