'''''Beauty and the Geek''''' is a reality television show, first aired by [[The WB Television Network|The WB]] on [[June 2]], [[2005]].  It has been advertised as "the Ultimate Social Experiment" and is produced by [[Ashton Kutcher]] and Nick Santora. As of [[March 2006]], there have been two seasons aired. Season one was hosted by Brian McFayden. Season two was hosted by Mike Richards. 

On [[February 7]], [[2006]] a [[Beauty and the Geek (UK)|British version]] of the show debuted on [[E4 (channel)|E4]].  Although there is no host per se, voiceovers are provided by [[David Mitchell (actor)|David Mitchell]]. A [[Norway|Norwegian]] version will start on Norwegian [[TV3 (Viasat)|TV3]] in [[March]], [[2006]]. It has been given the name ''Prinsessen og Professoren'' ("The Princess and the Professor").

The show matches physically attractive, but intellectually challenged women with geeky-looking, socially inept, "genius" men, and have them try to learn from each other. The women try to learn about [[academia]], such as [[rocket science]] or auto mechanics, from the men while the men try to learn social skills from the women.
