Notre Dame is one of two Vancouver, Eastside Catholic highschools; 
the other being [[St. Patrick's Regional Secondary]].

[[Vancouver College]] & [[Little Flower Academy]] are the two Vancouver Westside Catholic highschools.

In 2006, [[Vancouver City Council]] granted Notre Dame the right to build a new school facility on the old football practice field. The new building will consist of classrooms to accommodate between 700 and 750 students. Upon completion, the old school facilities will be torn down for the creation of a new football field. The theater, lunch & gym facilities will remain intact.
