The serial is thought to be highly inspired from a real women [[Kiranjit Ahluwalia]] although there are many differences. The show is doing very well by achieving 1.13 TRPs on its first week: It is the top scorer on Life OK. The show is climbing up the ladder by achieving another high score of 1.61 TRP and recently 2.1; the show is doing very well. ''Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava'' is still number one on Life OK.
Now in its fourth week, the show has gained 2.67. It beat other shows on other channels at the 10 pm slot. However recently the show has gone down to 2.02 trp ratings and this may be because other shows which also air at 10.00pm have gone up. It is giving tough competetion to other shows at 10 p.m


==Story==

''Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava'' depicts the struggle of Jhahnvi, who is faced with any young woman's worst fear: an over-possessive and abusive husband, Viraj. To the outside world, Viraj is suave and charming; at home he is a completely different man. Viraj, who had an abusive childhood, is irrationally dominating while being sweet, polite and nice at the same time, causing Jhahnvi to go to great lengths to keep him from getting angry and stay on his good side, to save their marriage. While everyone sees Viraj as the perfect husband, it is only Jhahnvi who knows and deals with the manipulative and irrational side of him.
