==Nicknames Throughout the Years==
As a young child he was know as Big Al, due to him towering over everyone at his age. At age 8 he was already 5'10". In elementary school he was know as Alfredo, cause he got the sauce. In Highschool he choose to go by A.J. His friends and family called him Larry, in respect to his great great great great uncle's dog. When he was with the Saints he went back to his old name of Big Al. Currently he goes by Fredog.

Defilippis began teaching and coaching at Benedictine Military School in 2014. 

Defilippis married Melanie Defilippis in 2017. He is now living with his wife and son as of November 2019.
