Having read your Userpage, it is unclear if you've ever actually '''been to''' South Africa (or Namibia for that matter) - but it is clear that you've made significant contributions. So first off, thanks a lot for all your apparent great work, and if I may ask, how much time have you spent in South Africa -- purely out of interest? :Oh lord. It's this kind of churlishness that encouraged me to leave Wikipedia back in August. Yes, I've been to South Africa. I've lived there. I've met almost every South African Wikipedia editor. I have an ugly green passport that says Republic of South Africa / République de l'Afrique du Sud on it. Any other questions? ::There's no need for incongruity, PZFUN, 'twas simply a bid of thanks for your work on South African articles, and an attempt to familiarise myself with some of the stronger editors on South African articles. For this reason I hardly see how I can be accused of churlishness? Such a statement was unbecoming coming from a prominent editor such as yourself who should by now be more than familiar with the fact that we are slightly lacking in South African contributors. You may be surprised if I tell you that I am South African myself, and my query was not an attack on your authority to contribute to South African articles but rather an interest in your link to South Africa as my question mentions I was asking simply out of interest. As my question further stated, your userpage doesn't mention if you've ever actually ''been to'' South Africa, and you claim to be various nationalities aside from South African, I'm sure you'd agree that my question has some merit?
