My reasons for my decision to contribute to Wikipedia is two-fold. One, my contributions to the China-related articles is driven by a personal urge to make the English speaking world more aware and less ignorant about China
, and shine light on the common misconceptions. Secondly, my personal experiences, professional background and academic interest has propelled makes me confident in being a reviewer on controversial topics.

Recently my topics of research are Qing Dynasty history and the controversy surrounding [[Falun Gong]].
