Translations? If a song (Like Nick Cave's "Time Jesum...") mentions its title in a different language, does that count in or out? I'm not sure. [[User:Tolo|Tolo]] 17:02, Jul 30, 2004 (UTC)

=="Incomplete" Comment==

Is the comment about this list being incomplete at all necessary? If anyone mistook this list for a complete one, I'm not sure I'd trust them editing Wikipedia! --[[User:BDD|BDD]] 01:46, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

: The '''<nowiki>{{dynamic list}}</nowiki>''' template this and many other lists use was recently redirected to a more generic (and less informative) one. I've undone the redirect and restored the previous text. Its purpose is to communicate that, unlike many lists in this encyclopedia, this one is not and cannot be considered complete. (Among other reasons, new songs are written every day.) It may be obvious that it can't be complete, but rather than assume one knows what is and isn't obvious to every possible reader, one is better off thinking that a reader might rightly believe that an encyclopedia article aspires to be authoritative, and anything preventing that should be stated up front.

: As far as who's "trusted" to edit Wikipedia, we trust ''everyone'' to edit Wikipedia. But that's beside the point. Articles are here to be read, not to be edited. If people are writing any articles in the main namespace solely to be read by "trusted" editors, something's wrong. ☺ — [[User:Jeffq|Jeff Q]] [[User talk:Jeffq|(talk)]] 03:15, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)
