The ''general public'' is a term used to describe a group of people, whom are not part of a certain [[private]] group. This is used at many [[hospital|hospitals]], where signs might say GENERAL PUBLIC OUT, meaning only doctors, nurses, or outher people affilitated with the hospital may go in. Today, the term is used in most areas.
