Halo's marketing strategy, which featured gorgeous fetish models (known as the Halo Gals) holding the guitars in unique poses, made people compare them to a young [[Dean Guitars]]. Halo uses a g
ouerrilla warfare marketing strategies (Club Showcases, Conventions, Billboards, Radio, and Television) that were not common in the MI industry. On top of that Halo uses the Halo Gals & the Halo street team play a huge roll in the marketing as well. The Halo street team has grown drastically in the last two years to over 35,000 and continues to grow each day. 

In 2007 at the winter [[NAMM]] show, Halo Guitars revealed the 8 string guitars that were made possible by the joint action of Halo owner Waylon Ford & [[Kahler Tremolo System]] owner Gary Kahler. Since then they have been know to cross the bar in many ways and are considered one of the up and coming guitar companies of this generation.
