Difference between revisions 13457516 and 13722886 on enwiki

Right now, this page is a filler page. Because my username looks better in blue, then in red. It is my page after all. (Although you can do whatever you want with it, I don't mind as long its in good taste.)

(contracted; show full)these two [[Template:Chess position]] and [[Template:Game of Go Position]] are a good example on how cohesion and flexibility can be achieved. This allows fun things like [[Wikipedia:Sandbox/Chess|WikiChess]], and perhaps later for the Game of Go. I created the latter template myself. Creating the parameter entries for all 361 nodes was pretty tedious, but doesn't it look beautiful?

Entering "b" renders a black seed. Nothing 
or whitespace renders an empty square, while "x" renders an empty star point. "w" renders a white seed. The number at the lower right corner controls the size. It really should stay at 30 though, otherwise it begins to fragment because of the coordinates. Smaller sizes will have to use no coordinates for now, which is available at [[Template:Game of Go Position NC]]. This is the first system though. A second system is being developed which allows for full analysis, and would work concurrently, but it won't be used that often for Wikigames.

Trying to create a flexible one with flexible board sizes, font sizes borders, co-ordinates and everything but the most needed things come first.

Also created stuff for smaller boards for small games, or just convenient examples to cite: [[Template:Game of Go Position 13x13]], [[Template:Game of Go Position 9x9]],  each with their own no coordinate version.
