The Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform, or CABAL for short is a fictional artificial intelligence - debatably artificial - in the science fiction real-time strategy computer game series Command & Conquer.

Its purpose is twofold: it acts as a console interface between battlefield soldiers and their commander, and collates intelligence and devises strategy of its own. Its name a contraction of the phrase "Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform", it is more likely named for the Kabbalah, thanks to the peculiar sense of humour of its master, Kane, who delights in giving his possessions Biblical or Hebraic names.
Another possible origin for Cabal would be Kabale, a german word which has been used during the 18th century. Kabale means intrigue in current english.

It is the Brotherhood of Nod counterpart of the United Nations Global Defense Initiative Electronic Video Agent.
