Shy Guys can wear different colors, such as red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, pink, and purple. They seem to be an organization of mercenaries. If the player wins any of the three cups in ''[[Mario Power Tennis]]'' with the Shy Guy character its mask will fall off, although it can't be seen by players, Luigi appears to be scared by its appearance.
