In the time before Episode VI, Jabba had offered a lavish reward for anyone who could capture a [[krayt dragon]] to pit against the rancor; fearful of the rancor being hurt or killed, Malakili had conspired with [[Lady Valyrian]] to take them away. After [[Luke Skywalker]] killed histhe [[rancor]], heMalikili sweaored revenge against LuSkywalker and Jabba.
