This Pestage, however, was merely a clone created by Emperor's Hand Sarcev Quest. The real Pestage later helped Emperor Palpatine return to life on the planet [[Planets of Star Wars#Byss|Byss]]. He nearly died there when the [[Galaxy Gun]] destroyed the planet, and narrowly escaped.
