The Detroit Free Press eventually wrote a story implicating Ronald Scherz in 2004<sup>1</sup>.
Ronald Sherz claimed that it was just a symbol. One of the most famous tags was when he drew 3 turtles and wrote "stuck in traffic" next to it. it was at the exit from I-75 to I-94. The tag was painted over and is no longer there
. The trtl did alot of tags on I-94 and I-75. Across of a big catholic church on I-94 there was a concrete platform and had a few turtles and stars, and circles. That was power-washed away
