His first novel was ''Mallcity 14'' published by a small press known as Trafford. There are two other novels which are sequels to ''Mallcity 14'', called ''Return to Mallcity'' and ''Mallcity One''.
 
His short fiction has appeared at ''Aphelian'', ''Cosmos Online'' and ''Antipodean''. His short fiction is also often produced as audio science fiction on the podcast ''Beam Me Up'' to which he is a frequent contributor. 

Shaun A. Saunders is a [[psychologist]], who's doctoral research on the darker side of modern consumer behaviour made headlines around the world in 2001 after a press release in [[London]]. 

Saunders lives in [[Newcastle, New South Wales|Newcastle]], on the south east coast of [[Australia]], with his wife, Linda.
