If the Wikipedia server goes down, go to http://openfacts.berlios.de/index-en.phtml?title=Wikipedia_Status for information. You should bookmark it, because of course once Wikipedia is down, you won't be able to access this page.

You may also visit [irc://irc.freenode.net/wikipedia #wikipedia] on irc.freenode.net to commiserate.  If you are looking for status information on when the wiki will return or why it is down, read the page's topic.  (Otherwise, a hundred people will ask the same questions over and over again.)
