== Life ==

Jurkin was born in [[Koksetau]] ([[Kazakhstan]], [[Central Asian Republic]]) and since [[1996]] has lived in [[Saint Petersburg]]. He studied dramatic art at the [[Saint Petersburg State Academy of Dramatic Art]] ([[1987]] - [[1992]]). Jurkin is a [[Russia]]n [[novelist]] who began his career in the [[Soviet Union|Soviet]] era. His first newspaper publication was an essay called «The Circle of Concerns of the Scientist» ([[1985]]), dedicated to Chokan Walikhanov. During a time of extreme censorship, Jurkin published both under his real name and (through [[samizdat]] ([[1988]]). He was the founder of and has been the editor of the newspaper «Prophesies and Sensations» since [[1998]].

Since July, 1997 has been writing for the popular newspaper "New Petersburg". The author of problem articles on all-Russian subjects. The economical essay "[[Kovykta]] - the Hotbed of World War" [[2004]] has prolonged the subject stated in newspaper reporting "[[Global Energy Award|Whom the Global Energy Award Will Warm?]]" and "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Awarded" (about [[Jores Alferov]]). In an article in the newspaper "Anomaly" (N 170, August 5, 1998) has given the analysis of a potential of newspaper sensations.

In particular: "A person is an operator of errors", "Life is a form of a substance, for which is typical underestimation of information" , "Life is a form of reproduction and haul of garbage", "An error is the information shade of threat" etc. Philosophical phrases like: "Any error at one time was threat, and new threats will lead to new errors" inhere the publicist . Was a subject to critic for original views.

Paul Wolves in the book "Where the tree of life does grows?" criticized adherence of the writer of the article "Anti-Darvin" the theory of involution. Andrew Antonov in "The Answers of Russian Ladoga" on bands of the newspaper "New Petesbyrg" (619) contested the historical concept which has been set up in the publication "Putins secrets of [[Staraja Ladoga]]" ([[2003]]).
