== Subsequent involvement in publication and teaching of ACIM ==
The ever growing popularity of ACIM seemed to know no bounds, and by 1998, over a million copies had been sold.  Meanwhile, in 1982 Wapnick entered into his second marriage with Gloria Wapnick, whom he met as a result of an encounter at an ACIM related event.  In the following year, 1983
, Kenneth and Gloria Wapnick founded the [[Foundation for A Course In Miracles]] (or FACIM) in New York state, which was initially a residential teaching organization, but which later evolved into a daytime teaching institute with an ''Electronic Outreach'' program.   In 2001 the Wapnicks relocated both the headquarters of FACIM, and themselves, to Tiburon, California.
