A graduate of [[Physics]], his firstHe studied [[Physics]] at Sakarya University. His first published work is a poem titled "“Yıldırımları Beklemek" was published in”, [[Varlık]] magazine in 1999. Erte’s works of [[poetry, articles, translation]], short stories, articles and interviews   were published in different magazines like [[Varlık]], [[Kitap-lık]], [[E]], [[Yasakmeyve]] and [[Akşam-lık]]. In 2003 Erte got the [[Yaşar Nabi Nayır Poetry Awards, Sonra Edebiyat]], Heves]], [[Kül Öykü]], [[Merdiven Şiir]], [[E]], [[Hayvan]], [[Milliyet Sanat]]. Erte was awarded 2003 [[Yaşar Nabi Nayır Poetry Prize]] with his work “[[Suyu Bulandıran Şey]]”, and published his first book of [[poetry]] titled "[[Suyu Bulandıran Şey]]".in the same year this work published as a book. His first [[short story]] book “[[Bakisiışın Kirlettigği Ayna]]” is his first short story book (YKY, May 2008). published in May 2008 by [[YKY]]. He worked as an editor at Yasakmeyve magazine for two years. He currently works as an editor at Varlık  Publishing House.
