He is an [[Irving]] [[Residency|resident]] since 1960, Dickens is son to American father and Mexican mother and is fluent in Spanish. 
Dickens has two [[sisters]] Linda and Eileen, who resides in [[Puebla]], [[Mexico]] with the family's [[mother]] and her son. When not visiting with his [[children]] or grandchildren, he can be seen driving around [[Irving]] on his [[Harley]] checking the city out.
