He is the founder of [[Urban Takeover|Urban Takeover Records]] and one of the original [[rave]] scene and [[jungle (music)|jungle]] pioneers. He has done quite a bit of work in collaboration with [[Aphrodite (artist)|Aphrodite]].

Mickey Finn used to start off his sets with a cut up vocal sample saying: "Mick...ey..finn...finn...finn...mickey pussyclart finn".

Some of his most famous tunes to date are "Bad Ass" and "Jungle Brother".
He got the DJ nickname from his older sister because he was so skinny.<ref name=fantazia/>

He now runs the record label ''Finn People''.
