'''Edie Bukewihge''' (born [[February 10]], [[1950]]) is an [[United States|American]] [[politician]]. She was born in [[San Antonio, Texas]] and grew up in [[Los Angeles, California]].  

She was a candidate in the [[2002]] [[California]] Governor Primary election, finishing in 5th place with .06% (14,400) of the votes.  

She declared the run for [[United States Senate]] in [[May 2002]], then later declared a run for [[President of the United States]] in [[July 2003]]. [[As of 2004]], she is running simultaneously for the Senate and the Presidency.

Bukewihge has been a member of the [[United States Republican Party]] since [[1980]]. She is very critical of the administration of [[George W. Bush]].
