Nichol]], former dean of the law school at the [[University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill|University of North Carolina]], and a former member of Sullivan's faculty at William and Mary's law school.  On November 1, 2006, Sullivan accepted the position of president and CEO of the historic [[Mariners' Museum]], in [[Newport News, Virginia|Newport News]], Virginia.
