'''ErrMess Remote Computer''' is a Microsoft Windows based software, more commonly known as a RAT Prank(Remote Administration Tool). As with other RAT Pranks it uses a client and server. ErrMess Remote Computer is available as freeware. The software is easily removed from the system. ErrMess Remote Computer allows many actions on the victim's machine. Some of its abilities include:

* Remote Shell (Telnet)
* Open/close CD-ROM tray
* Send fake error messages
* Send fake balloon messages
* Make the computer beep

On this site you can download and install a software called ErrMess Remote Computer (erc). To do this you need at least two computers connected trough a local network or trough an internet connection.

ErrMess (erc) was born out of a desire for an elegant, free and funny remote control prank, that you could use on April Fool's 
dDay and any other day. ErrMess is a fresh software, but its roots and development go back to 2003. It is a userfriendly and stable product. I hope by focusing on what features the user want's and need I can create a tool different from anything else out there.

2008 was a very exciting year for the author, as we saw the release of the 4.1 version (introducing a few new features) which have been downloaded several thousand times. After losing some of the source code for ErrMess (erc), due to a computer crash a few years ago (unfortunately he did not have a backup at that time) - it is finally great to have the final and stable version of 4.1 out in the public.
