'''Surda''' is a small country in [[Alagaësia]] that shares the southwest border of the [[Empire]] in [[Christopher Paolini]]s ''[[Inheritance]]'' trilogy. It escaped [[Galbatorix]]'s rule by 'not being a threat' to him. Its king, [[Orrin Hatch|Orrin]] is a good ruler, but at some times a bit strange in his antics; he loves science. Once [[Nasuada]] became ruler of the [[Varden]] after her father [[Ajihad]] died, she decided to move the [[Varden]] to Surda' through the [[Beor Mountains]]. 

Surda has a hot climate. Many outlaws from the [[Empire]] live there.
