== Distribution ==
The Jamot are believed to have migrated from [[Arabia]] into Sindh and then part of the tribe migrated to Balochistan. They are related to the Samman or [[Samma (tribe)|Sammat]]. In [[Makran]] and [[Iran]] the tribe are known as [[Jadgal]] and in Sindh as Sammat too. They have spent many centuries in Balochistan and Sindh. As well as the tribe live in other provinces of Pakistan.
