Why bother? [[User:Slrubenstein|Slrubenstein]] ---- Wow, that was some incredible research work on Fascism. Excellently done -- thank you for being polite to WHEELER, and for doing the difficult work of finding the source in Italian. Two thumbs up! [[User:Jwrosenzweig|Jwrosenzweig]] 00:53, 31 Mar 2004 (UTC) ⏎ ⏎ Yup, Halifax was certainly an appeaser. But I think it's wrong to say that he was really very symathetic to Nazism as a political system. He was buttering up Hitler for reasons of international politics, not because he found Nazism particularly amenable. At any rate, what do you think about the question of how to organize the fascism page? I think that arguing with WHEELER and TDC is ultimately worthless. As 172 suggests, the best way to deal with the issue is to change the terms of the debate to ones in which they are not comfortable. What we are trying to do is write an encyclopedia article, not have an argument about fascism. I'm fairly comfortable that we are winning the argument about fascism. I'm not as confident that we are making any progress towards improving the article. So, input is welcome.
