'''TinyMe''' is a lightweight [[PCLinuxOS]]-based [[operating system]]. The project started in November 2006. Development took place between several members of [[MyPCLinuxOS]] until KDulcimer took over solo development in April 2007. The first stable version of TinyMe was released in May 2008. Development continued on the MyPCLinuxOS forum with other MyPCLinuxOS projects until September 2007, when the TinyMe project moved to its own subdomain of MyPCLinuxOS. In September 2008, TinyMe moved to its own site hosted off MyPCLinuxOS. TinyMe's second release was codenamed "Droplet" and was released December 2008. "Droplet" came as a 150 MB ISO.

TinyMe is a minimalist distribution of Linux aimed at making your computing experience as bloat and lag-free as possible. We do tThis is for those of you who have old computers, like to mess around with small/fast systems, or just want a minimal environment. TinyMe is comparable to distributions like Puppy, AntiX, ZenWalk, and DSL.

TinyMe uses the [[Openbox]] window manager which is known to be smaller and faster than [[KDE]] which is used in [[PCLinuxOS]].

The distribution produces two Live CD ISO images. The larger, codenamed "Acorn", is a 200 MB ISO image. The other, "Droplet", is a 150 MB ISO image. Both can be installed onto a hard drive or a [[USB flash drive]]. TinyMe is comparable to other [[Mini Linux]] distributions such as: [[Puppy Linux]], [[AntiX]], or [[Damn Small Linux]].

On [[16 January]] [[2009]], TinyMe was ranked #25 at [[DistroWatch]].

On [[11 March]] [[2009]], TinyMe's developer announced a split from [[PCLinuxOS]].
