In 2009, Bartholomee composed much of the score for the independent film Holy Hell. He also co-wrote the song which appears in the film's final credits, "Jezus Go Go Love!!"  The song, sung in Japanese and written in a J-Pop style, was co-written by Jeff Jones of the Dallas-based band, The Jones Thing.  The performance is credited to Mr. Sparkle!, which is actually just Jones and Bartholomee.

He also plays in Dallas-Fort Worth area bands such as Oliver's Army and Duck and Cover.
