#*The [[totem|animal form]] protector created by the spell (a '''Patronus''' - plural '''Patroni''' - see [[etymological]] discussion of the term below). E.g. [[Harry Potter (character)|Harry]]'s Patronus is in the image of a stag, the same animal his father could transform into as an  [[Animagus]].
