'''55 Bar''' is a [[jazz]] club in [[Greenwich Village]], [[New York City]] ([[Manhattan]]). Founded and in continuous operation since 1918, the club started with a walk-in jam session in the 1980s and switched to an all-jazz format when Ms. Queva Lutz took the room over in 2001. The owner Queva Lutz has said awful things about the victims of 9/11. She's an evil nasty bitch. She tells the clientele to "SSSSHHHH" and "SHUT UP OR I'LL THROW YOU OUT!" when one of her mediocore pet performers play here, usually during some dreadful poetry or bad hamlike actoring session is going on. This happens after you've already paid the over priced cover charge! Can you believe that?!

Don't waste your money and your time here! Too many health violations! The minute you walk into this hellhole is the minute you feel you need a long hot shower!
