Ledel formed in [[1994]], rising from the ashes of Blastfemus, a [[funky]]-[[metal]] band. During the same year they released their first demo-tape, titled “H.P.L.” with the collaboration of many musicians, to follow the most different kinds of playing. The tape has six songs inside, moving on a fusion of different musical genres, the lyrics are both in Italian and in English, and two of them are inspired by the tales of [[Howard Phillips Lovecraft]], to whom the tape is dedicated.
The lack of a singer, brings the band to new musical experiences, as on a rhythmic point of view, as on the harmonic, in particular with a big attention to the use of effects.
In [[1997]] Ledel released their second demo-tape : “THE NEW CASE” after a long period of work, passed experimenting with [[digital signal processors]], [[percussion instruments]] and new [[harmonic]] forms.
On [[November]] [[1997]] Ledel recorded their first mini-CD “BEHIND, INSIDE, UNEXPECTED”, with three songs inside. This is the top of their work, with lots of keyboard-like sounds, that came all from [[guitars]] and [[digital signal processors]], with a massive use of percussive sounds and their passion of mixing different styles. Ledel split during the winter [[1998]].

Actually Luca and Maurizio play with [[Soundvision]] and [[Image Circle]], and the other members of the band are, as I know, out of musical business.

There was [[Roberto Bertagnin]] on [[bass guitar]]. All the music was strongly inspired by [[Howard Phillips Lovecraft]]. Probably when you listen to this record, you could think that there are a lot of [[Keyboard instrument|keyboards]]... that's not. Ledel only used [[Digital Signal Processors]]. "The Strange Case" is a song that describes the [[Stevenson]]'s novel [[The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde]].
