RE: your addition of World Tapir Day to the list of observances at April 27. The minimum requirement for inclusion in a date article is that the observance be the subject of an article. This observance is not and therefore should not be included. -- <font color="#000080">Mufka</font> (u) (t) (c) 18:39, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Avatar 2009 film article -- article size.
Schneelock, regarding this this edit, I am aware of that, but as I said in my edit summary, this was added throughout for a reason. Stuff that is not needed keeps getting added to this article; we are not always quick to note cruft. The article size has been extensively discussed on the talk page, and we were advised to keep the article size down (from increasing too much more). We keep having to cut out stuff, because of new adds that are not needed. But what should or should not be noted is often subjective. This note throughout the article can help the article from unnecessarily increasing in size; people will be more willing to discuss whether or not certain additions are needed or not. For example, the Themes and inspirations section already is big enough; it basically covers the most important stuff. Additional stuff should go to the main article on the themes in Avatar.
