Meloni Thawne-Allen is a supporting character in the [[DC Comics]] Universe, and the mother of [[Bart Allen]].

She lives in the [[30th Century]] (which is, among other things, the time of the [[Legion of Superheroes]]). She is the daughter of President Thawne, a descendant of the [[Reverse Flash]]. she married Don Allen, son of [[Barry Allen]] (who was living in the 30th century with his wife [[Iris Allen]]) and who was one of the [[Tornado Twins]]. Their marriage brought to an end a long standing feud between the two super-speedy families.

She gave birth to [[Bart Allen]], whose accelerated metabolism made it necessary to send him back to our time where he could be cured of his rapid aging by [[Wally West]].

Her personality seemed very similar to that of her son, who was first aptly known as Impulse. she was scatterbrained and possessed of a tendency to rush in and act without a plan.

It has recently been revealed that she is the mother of Owen Mercer, the new [[Captain Boomerang]], having conceived him by the original Boomerang, who was trapped in the 30th Century. It is theorized that due to her genetic connection to the Thawnes he inherited short bursts of superspeed, although she has never exhibited this ability herself. It is unknown whether she gave birth to Bart or Owen first, or how he made it back to our own time.
