'''Dean Kesby''' is an [[Australian]] radio announcer and programmer. An only child, Dean was born and raised in the northern NSW town of Kempsey, where his father Dick Kesby runs a popular menswear store.

Dean caught the radio bug during high school, when he helped with the creation of a school radio station. He soon realised that announcing was his forte, and son after leaving school he got a job with a regional station in Young NSW.

In late 2005, Dean married his girlfriend of three years, Zann, in a small ceremony in Booval Queensland. At the wedding he announced that the two were expecting their first child in 2006.

Soon after the demise of the Morning Crew, Dean was offered and accepted a position as program director with Austereo stations KOFM and NXFM near his hometown in Newcastle, NSW. 
He is excited about moving back 'home'. He starts with NX and KO in February 2006Dean has started 2006 with great prospects, luring his friend and confidante Kerryn Atkinson from B105 to NXFM to host mornings and do music. With Dean's passion, commitment and experience, Newcastle radio listeners can expect great things to come.
