Difference between revisions 38792105 and 48637658 on enwikiShareLive was a database of links for popular P2P networks, including EDonkey network, Gnutella, G2, MANOLITO (Blubster, Piolet) and BitTorrent. ShareLive differed from other bittorrent, magnet link, and ed2k link sites in the way it was a request-receive/release system. Even though it was very popular it had many issues regarding stability and was often down due to some database or bandwidth issue. Sharelive also suffered DoS attacks and domain hijackings. ShareLive controversially came back online on 22/12/04, amidst a major uproar caused by law suits filed by the MPAA versus several similar (BitTorrent) sites, and shortly after SuprNova was voluntarily taken offline. ShareLive recently closed down due to lack of funds, but a new development known as ShareLive Zone is in the works. Details are not currently being released to the public. ShareLive's fourums are currently still open and available to the public, but release and request of p2p links are not permitted there. ShareLive's software has gone open source as well, known as Open ShareLive. ==External links== *Open Sharelive Website-stub All content in the above text box is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license Version 4 and was originally sourced from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=48637658.
