During this incident, she again helps to save the life of the [[superhero]]ine [[Halo (comics)|Halo]] despite orders from the team leader and Windfall's sister, the homicidal [[New Wave (comics)|New Wave]].

Windfall attempted to use her powers to shield the group with an air wall, but wasn't able to contain the chemical giant's attack. She died when Chemo's blast overcame her shield, reducing her to a [[skeleton]].

Windfall is able to control wind, which allows her to fly, create gusts of wind and air shields.
