Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack is a repackaging of the video games Grand Theft Auto III (2001) and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002) as a single release. Released on October 21, 2003 for the Sony PlayStation 2 and first released for the Microsoft Xbox in November 4, 2003, it was also the first iteration of the Grand Theft Auto series to appear on the Xbox, which originally only appeared on the PlayStation 2 and the PC.

The Double Pack was released for a street price of $49.99 in North America, ₤40 in the United Kingdom and $99.99 in Australia and New Zealand. The Double Pack was also released for the PlayStation 2, though this version was just a repackaging of the original seperately-sold games. The Double Pack was later replaced in 2005 by a GTA Trilogy Pack including Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, for both PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The PC releases by contrast were only single titles.

Along with being the long awaited debut of the series on the Xbox, many consumers also saw that the game essentially packaged two games for the price of one, ensuring that the Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack became a major international success.

Xbox version
While the original games was initially developed by Rockstar North for Rockstar Games, the Xbox port was handled by Rockstar Vienna.

The Xbox version featured numerous improvements over the PC and PlayStation 2 versions. They PC port's advantages were only higher quality textures, higher resolutions, and a custom radio tracks. The Xbox version included better graphics (due to more capable console hardware) which included more detailed polygon models, real time reflections, real time shadowing, greater draw distances and weather effects. The Xbox version also featured custom radio tracks which included the ability to play a user's own songs from their Xbox hard drive.

However, the gameplay and plot largely remained the same from the original releases.
