''It has been suggested that the origins of the slur are in the slang word for semen, basically implying that the person in question is a "waste of sperm".''  It seems equally possible that the term arose independantly of this meaning in the Newfoundland context.  Can anyone source this or is this just somebody's personal speculation? Looks a bit like original research that I'd favor removing, unless someone has some experience with them being connected.  [[User:Nonpl(contracted; show full)
Who wrote this?  Slang is rarely used in the semiformal mode this is written in.  If this is meant to be serious, as an example of how skeet might be used, it still needs a rewrite, but is fine as far as style.  Otherwise, scrap it.
