Hoang is an artist who works in video and photography to examine the intersections between popular cultural representation of the Asian male body and the formation of an alternative, queer Asian popular culture. His works have been screened at gay and lesbian and Asian American film festivals and displayed at numerous nonprofit exhibition sites.
