'''The City Beer Hall''' is an American beer hall and gastropub located in downtown Albany, New York.  The building that houses the beer hall at 42 Howard St. was built in 1903 by architect Charles Ogden.  It was originally the former telephone offices for the city of Albany, and previously housed Ogden's Restaurant and Ballingers Nightclub.  The City Beer Hall opened on May 26 2011.
