why just hte 60's and 70's? Spencerk 03:28, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
: The counterculture movement refers to the 1960's and lasted to the end of the 1970's. It was a period which transformed America and was exhibited in film. There are of course subcultures with us today and modern films will reflect these movements. The films you listed do not represent the 60's. I am removing your additions.216.174.53.48 01:22, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

*i understand, what about another page for films that are counter cultural? -"whose values and norms are at odds with those of the social mainstream" or is there one already? Spencerk 20:34, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

The Misfits and other films
It appears there are a few films on the list which apparently are not apart of the 60's counterculture movement. Would a film about the 60's made today qualify? Are there 60's values in films that have not been made during this period and should they be on the list? Which ones should be dropped? Which should be kept?216.174.52.43 01:24, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
