Prior to joining IP Unity, Dr. Sobti was senior vice president of ADC and president of ADC's Broadband Access and Transport Group (BATG). Dr. Sobti's responsibilities included managing operations, engineering, and sales and marketing initiatives. Under his leadership ADC purchased Pairgain Technologies and Broadband Access Systems, their largest acquisitions to date.
He was also at Motorola for 24 years, where he ran a number of their businesses and led Motorola's participation in the third generation of wireless.
