A '''smark''' is an obese middle aged man or teenager who happens to think they know everything about wrestling, yet still watches it. A "[[smart (professional wrestling)|smart]]" is a person who thinks he or she is cool and is privy to the behind-the-scenes operations and understands that pro(contracted; show full)ing]] and [[Ring of Honor]] rather than [[World Wrestling Entertainment]], as their supposed wrestling-based [[meritocracy]] is seen as superior to WWE's [[sports entertainment]] orientation. Others also investigate foreign wrestling, particularly [[Japan|Japanese]]. Whichever way one looks at it though, all promotions of professional wrestling have their own form of problems.

Typically speaking, smarks hate muscular wrestlers and like the small (ie [[Christopher Daniels]]) or fat ones (ie [[Samoa Jo

==Criticisms of Smarks==
Smarks have been looked down upon by wrestlers and other wrestling fans alike because they are seen as fans who are incapable of [[suspension of disbelief|suspending their disbelief]]. As such, they are very critical of matches and often have negative reviews of wrestling matches, [[angle (professional wrestling)|storylines]], and wrestlers in general.
